A CMDB and clean IT documentation are core components of IT service management

Especially in the context of ITIL and ISMS. They capture IT components and their relationships in a structured way and keep them consistent.

Flexibility is crucial: for object properties as well as dependencies. Only in this way can the information required by service management and other processes be documented in a clear, concise, and easy-to-maintain manner.

Full flexibility. Clear structure. Predictable costs.

  • Flexible modeling of objects, properties, and relationships
  • Extensive, customizable standards for a quick start
  • Open interfaces for integrations with other tools
  • Add-ons for ISMS, NIS2, ISO 27001, emergency plans, and forms
  • Easy maintenance and support of automations
  • Flexible permissions and role models
  • Economical licensing model with predictable costs

What we do?

We advise, implement, and support you in your documentation project. With customized interfaces and automations, we make your IT documentation as efficient and easy to maintain as possible.

Detailed scope of services

CMDB/Documentation
We support your CMDB/documentation project from the initial structure through to stable operation. During the analysis phase, we record your existing IT and asset landscape, define a suitable data model with object types, categories, and relationships, and design role, permission, and tenant structures. To this end, we coordinate the CMDB processes—for example, integration into your change management.
Configuration
We then install and configure the platform, set up tenants, users, and roles, and adapt the data model via categories and attributes. At the same time, we configure interfaces to systems such as AD, monitoring, or ticket systems and develop necessary automations to minimize maintenance effort.
Migration and Integration
For migration and integration, we handle the import of existing asset and system data, clean and structure legacy data, and connect external systems (e.g., openITCOCKPIT). Building on this, we model dependencies and service structures so that relationships become transparent.
Testing
Finally, we test CMDB structures and functions, validate data quality, and create admin and process documentation. We train your administrators, ensure a clean handover into operation, and continue to support you thereafter—reliably and practically.
